Vue plongeante pendant les travaux, en direction de l'ouest, sur la place des Cordeliers et sur la colonne du Méridien (Pierre-Gabriel Bugniet architecte, C.L. Jayet statuaire, 1765-1770. démolie en 1858), 15 mai 1856. Sur la gauche : la construction du magasin de nouveautés "A la Ville de Lyon", futur emplacement du Grand bazar de Lyon. Au centre : le débouché de la rue Grenette. Sur la droite : la rue Dubois. -

Vue plongeante pendant les travaux, en direction de l'est, sur la place des Cordeliers et sur la colonne du Méridien (Pierre-Gabriel Bugniet, architecte ; C.L. Jayet, statuaire ; 1765-1770. Démolie en 1858), vers mai 1856. Sur la gauche : la Maison du Concert (Pietra Santa, architecte ; 1724. Démolie en 1858). Sur la droite : l'église Saint-Bonaventure. -
