Reproductions des vitraux de l'Hôpital de la Charité
Maquettes dessinées à l'aquarelle, leurs cartons en grandeur nature (environ 2, 30m sur 1,20m), ils retracent les épisodes essentiels de l'histoire de l'Aumône Générale, puis de la Charité, de 1531 à 1887. De gauche à droite : - 1651, testament de Jacques Moryron, baron de Saint-Trivier-en-Dombes, en faveur de l'Aumône Générale. - 1699, arrivée à la Charité de trois religieuses cédées par l'Hôtel-Dieu. - (Panneau central) 1531, pauvres affamés venant en barque à Lyon et en radeaux, depuis les régions voisines. - 1617, pose de la première pierre par Jean de Scève. - (dernier à droite, aquarelle) 1887, les soeurs hospitalières de Giens en charge des enfants venus de la Charité, le visage de l'ange est celui de Renée Sabran. -
